Here's his scores breakdown: 01/26/2013 SAT Reasoning Test Critical Reading 660 (91%) Math 800 (99%) Writing 720 (97%) Multiple Choice 68 (score range: 20-80) Essay 10 (score range: 2-12) Jigar came into your class and his first test he scored 1890. I'm entering my Spring quarter at UCR and I can't believe I'm almost done with my freshman year of college! First quarter was a challenge (academically) for me, but I worked really hard my winter quarter and am happy with having a current cumulative GPA of 3.4. I'm going to work even harder this last quarter and hopefully push that GPA a little higher:) It's so strange to think that almost 2 years ago I was a high school junior who was scared of not even GETTING into college. Speaking about high school juniors, a close family friend is headed your way soon.:) One of my best friends is entering her senior year this coming fall and asked me for tips for surviving the havoc of testing, applications, etc. and I immediately thought about the both of you! Her name is Chiharu and is an especially dedicated and academically conscious person who is very goofy and sweet. Better yet, she has a younger brother who is just beginning high school, so you may be better acquainted with her and her family in the coming years. Anette T. Inglewood, CA The individual tutoring session with Ed went very well, he seemed very intelligent and I got the sense he knew what he was talking about when it came to testing. I commend him on his personable and likeable presentation; it is so much easier for students to be proactive and dedicated to their studies when a teacher/tutor is comfortable and fun. The session gave me that last little boost I needed to study on my own the week preceding the test and I hope his lessons went to good use on Saturday. My goal was 1900, I was happy when I saw my score. Your strategies really helped me on the test. I really did find several questions where I remembered specific things you told us to get the answer. Just being familiar with the test was of great help also, I was actually mostly nervous over putting down all my information and doing the essay. The rest was just hard work.
